Overview

The Molding Operator will report to the Molding Lead. This position will be located at our Clifton Park, NY location. The molding operator will be required to set up a new mold according to a work order drawing. Involves reading drawings, cutting tubing to length and insert molding liquid silicone rubber in various shapes. All molded parts shall be inspected as they come off the mold to make sure they are clean and defect free.

 

Shift is 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities

  • · Mold operator for liquid injection molding of silicone rubber
  • · Ability to gown appropriately and operate in an ISO 7 environment
  • · Execute to Production Schedule and execute assigned tasks
  • · Operate equipment following SOP’s and training guidelines
  • · Report any equipment/mold issues to supervisor
  • · Responsible for following SOPs and safety procedures
  • · Responsible for area cleanliness
  • · Read/understand molding drawings
  • · Basic math competency
  • · Understanding of measuring instruments
  • · Inspection and cleaning of parts

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in production and machine operation is preferred
  • Ability to life 50 lbs,
  • must speak English and have 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision
  • Ability to stand for long period of time
  • Overtime opportunity is available
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • Must have reliable transportation as we are not bus line accessible.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. inclusive of shift differential. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
