Reporting to the Site Leader this position will manage the day-to-day production and maintenance activities and resources to produce quality and cost-effective products that meet or exceed customers’ expectations. Oversees the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products for multiple shifts. Manages work assignments in staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning of personnel engaged in the manufacturing of Repligen products. |
· Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures · Facilitates the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum cost. · Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department. · Manages appropriate staff levels, schedules, and resources. Works with other managers to stablish and plan priorities. · Identifies and recommends production improvement strategies that enhance equipment utilization, worker performance and product quality · Accountable for daily and weekly manufacturing performance metric completion and explanation · Provides feedback to Engineering and R&D to improve product design for ease of manufacturing, optimization of cost, quality improvement and time to manufacture · Leads and identifies OpEx implementation efforts focused on productivity and throughput time improvements · Establishes and promotes cross-functional relationships · Makes decisions regarding equipment use and procurement · Ensures efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant areas of manufacturing including planning, scheduling, procurement, and distribution. · Coordinates efforts with subordinates to reach or exceed established standards of production; such us efficiency, waste elimination, machine downtime, etc. · Develops and updates operating procedures with the intention to create uniformity in the operation of equipment that serves as guides for training among operators to reach the established standard of quality and quantity, such as reduction of downtime, waste, and lack of knowledge of equipment. |

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $120,000-150,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
