Overview

The Manufacturing Operator reports to the Senior Production Manager (may report to the Manufacturing Line Lead in the future) and performs production tasks including kitting of parts, cutting of tubing, reading design drawings, basic assembly techniques, visual inspection, and packaging and labeling. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the department’s quality and production goals are met.

In this role, you will be trained on, and required to do the following: 

  • Conduct basic assembly techniques.
  • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Perform visual inspection on in-process and finished products.
  • Package and label finished products.
  • Work with a Team in a fast-paced ISO certified cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day (with breaks) 
  • Learn the Repligen Performance System and contribute to continuous improvements through participation in various activities.
  • Perform basic problem solving.
  • Cut tubing to meet tolerances using both manual and automated tools.
  • Sort, count, and weigh products as needed.
  • Report inaccuracies on pick lists in a timely manner.
  • Record and complete accurate documentation according to the requirements of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate Repligen R-Values.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Basic arithmetic skills required. 
  • Strong attention to detail required, with an emphasis on quality standards. 

Physical Requirments: 

  • Must be able to use hand tools and equipment including repetitive forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to stand and move during shift, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 30 pounds, and infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted.
  • Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to chemical hygiene
