The Quality Control Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves conducting routine quality control tests, analyzing data, and documenting results.

• Prepares samples for testing
• Performs visual inspection and dimensional analysis using vision system
• Sample testing for fiber characteristics such as performance using various testing equipment (Measurement equipment, refractometer, spectrophotometer)
• Preparation of chemical solutions for marker testing
• Routine in house calibration on some equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance to current SOP’s and Work Instructions
• Records test data in excel spreadsheet
• Maintenance of laboratory glassware and inventory
• Adherence to all company Quality policies and procedures
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly

• Laboratory or manufacturing setting work experience preferred, within a controlled Quality environment
• 1 year of Lab Works experience preferred 
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively, especially within a team environment

The estimated hourly rate range for this role, based in the United States of America is $22-24. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
