Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Assembler to join our growing integrity testing team. 

 

You will be part of a cross functional team of four highly motivated and collaborative colleagues that determines and/or follows work instructions and ensure that the finished good specifications are met. This role is responsible for ensuring quality is built in performing module testing. This level has the capability to independently perform the job duties independently and can train others. This role will be based in Rancho Dominguez and will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Assembler will be responsible for:

  • Perform integrity testing of assembled modules
  • Follow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures.
  • Prepare chemicals solutions (Isopropanol and Glycerin).
  • Able to train and work in cross-functional areas/departments
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper set up; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Clean, maintain, and operate automated production equipment per SOP's.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • AA degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 3-5+ years of medical device assembly experience.
  • Experience working with hand tools, powers tools, and test equipment and good understanding of basic computer applications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The estimated hourly rate range for this role, based in the United States of America is $23-31. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
