A fast growing and acquisitive global public company is looking for an inquisitive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Manager - Financial Analyst reporting to the Director, Process Analytics - Business Unit Finance. This represents an opportunity to work in a key finance role as the Company continues to improve their business unit structure. This role must pay great attention to detail, deliver results under deadlines, and operate cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment. This key role will support multiple business units and partner with product line leaders.  The individual will focus on integration of a recent acquisition, improving internal reporting, refining and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and developing financial models as the segments of the business continue to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly business unit reporting packages and work with stakeholders to constantly improve management’s access to relevant financial data
  • Assist the forecast, budget, and strategic planning process for multiple business units
  • Partner with product line leaders to enhance existing financial models, drive revenue opportunities, and support margin expansion initiatives
  • Work with Product Management to establish KPIs and operating mechanisms to provide real time data to decision makers
  • Work with the Sales Operations team to enhance reporting, predictive analytics, and actionable insights for our leadership team
  • Partner with R&D to support financial modeling of new product introductions
  • Collaborate across departments (Operations, Sales, Product Management, R&D, etc.) to provide support, identify key trends and issues, resolve challenges, and implement process improvements
  • Support potential acquisitions and integrations as required, including 908 Devices transition
  • Assist with ERP integrations as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a complex, multinational, multi-site environment
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills required
  • Business intelligence software experience preferred
  • Familiar with ERP software as well as accounting principles (SAP preferred)
  • Demonstrated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable, value-add business insight
  • Desire to create and drive process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data
  • Skilled in root cause, corrective action activities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with global colleagues
