The Director, Global Payroll will lead the development and execution of Repligen’s global payroll strategy to support a growing global workforce. This role ensures proper controls and payroll compliance across jurisdictions, promotes operational efficiency, and fosters employee satisfaction by overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll across all regions.
This role will serve as the key architect and steward of global payroll governance, ensuring scalable, legally compliant, and future ready payroll processes. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller, the Director will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, Legal, and regional payroll leads to drive excellence and strategic alignment globally. |

Qualifications
Required Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred). · 10+ years of progressive experience in global payroll operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. · Experience leading payroll functions across multiple regions including North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
Skill & Competencies
· Deep knowledge of international payroll legislation, tax compliance, and regulatory environments. · Expertise in global payroll systems such as Workday and related platforms. · Exceptional leadership and cross-cultural communication skills. · Strong analytical abilities with experience in payroll data reporting and trend analysis. · Proven track record of managing large-scale transformation or system implementation projects in payroll. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a global mindset.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work at a desk for extended periods, utilizing a computer and other standard office equipment. · Visual and auditory ability to read detailed documents, analyze data, and communicate effectively in person or via phone / video calls. · Global travel will be required. |
