Overview

Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, and supplies to manufacturing floor.  Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fulfills process orders for manufacturing.  May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Cycle counting daily to insure inventory accuracy.  

Responsibilities

  • Picking, packing, and processing orders
  • Staging and loading orders.
  • Inventory and order auditing, including cycle counts
  • Operating powered and manual material handling equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment inside 
  • Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas
  • Ensuring all incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
  • Receiving and putting away inventory

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Two years of warehouse experience required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Due to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required.

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent

PREFERRED: 

  • Experience in order picking, shipping & receiving processes.
  • Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations. 
  • Familiarity with pallet jack operation. 
  • Experience with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, specifically SAP is preferred. 
  • Knowledge and experience with hazardous materials handling (limited, but not to train on).
