Engineered Molding Technologies, a Division of Repligen, is a growing industry leader in the area of Manufacturing of medical grade silicone-based products. Our Clifton Park location is expanding and growing and we are currently seeking to add an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor. This supervisor will oversee all aspects of the second shift team, including operators and leads.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 11pm
*Training period will be on 1st shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Responsible for the day-to-day management of production. ●Tracking of KPI’s to ensure operational efficiency ● Aid in troubleshooting equipment as needed to maximize machine utilization. ● Recruit and mentor manufacturing staff to ensure a motivated and effective team environment ● Provide training in document-controlled manufacturing techniques ● Approve shift schedules and vacation requests to ensure adequate staffing is available to meet production deadlines ● Ensure that materials and resources are in place to meet production goals, maximize facility utilization and eliminate production delays ● Work with planning to ensure scheduling of production to meet customer needs. ● Serve as a back-up for all production leads as required ● Ensure that all master manufacturing documents are accurate and up to date and that all manufacturing operations are carried out in accordance with Repligen’s Quality Management System ● Troubleshoot manufacturing process and recommend improvements when appropriate ● Analyze process data, and strive to keep manufacturing costs down by optimizing product success rates ● Interact with QC/QA departments as needed to improve existing processes and resolve process deviations/audit observations. ● Attend daily operations meetings, respond to the needs of other departments as they relate to Repligen’s manufacturing operations ● Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and general housekeeping throughout the department and surrounding areas

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $75,000/Yr. -$90,000/Yr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
