Overview

Repligen is a growing industry leader in the area of Manufacturing of medical grade silicone-based products. Our Clifton Park location is expanding and growing and we are currently seeking to add an experienced Production Supervisor, Swing Shift.  This supervisor will oversee all aspects of the second & third shift team, including operators and leads.

 

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 7:00pm - 3:30am, or 8:00pm - 4:30am. 

*Training period will be on 1st shift

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·        Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of production.

·        Tracking KPI’s to ensure operational efficiency.

·        Aid in troubleshooting equipment as needed to maximize machine utilization.

·        Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing staff to ensure a motivated and effective team environment

·        Provide training in document-controlled manufacturing techniques.

·        Approve shift schedules and vacation requests to ensure adequate staffing is available to meet production deadlines.

·        Ensure that materials and resources are in place to meet production goals, maximize facility utilization and eliminate production delays.

·        Work with planning to ensure scheduling of production to meet customer needs.

·        Serve as a back-up for all production leads as required.

·        Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and all regulatory standards that are carried out in accordance with Repligen’s Quality Management System

·        Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements and escalate when needed.

·        Work cross functionally to supervise the execution of NCMR/CAPAs.

·        Attend daily Lean Daily Management meetings, respond to the needs of other departments as they relate to Repligen’s manufacturing operations.

·        Supervise and support all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies.

·        Lead shift meetings, provide feedback, and maintain accurate production documentation.

Qualifications

 

 ·        Requires 5+ years of relevant Production Supervisor experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·        Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

·        Experience in continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing is preferred.

·        Ability to read drawings, and use measuring equipment such as calipers, and rulers.

·        Proven leadership and supervision skills and demonstrated abilities to supervise a team of employees.

·        Flexibility in shift coverage as needed is preferred.

·        Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office and an ability to learn SAP as well as other business systems.

·        Preferred shift schedule: 7:00pm to 3:30am.

The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $76,000/Yr. -$93,000/Yr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
