• Design, create detailed drawings, fabricate, and implement fixtures
• Apply practical mechanical and process design principles to  real manufacturing challenges
• Complete at least one self‑contained project from concept through implementation within an 8–12 week internship timeframe
• Characterize and validate equipment processes
• Present project deliverables to internal team and site-level stakeholders

• Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, materials, biomedical, electrical, or chemical engineering or related disciplines.
• Interest in or exposure to engineering design, fabrication, or process improvement
• Demonstrate experience reading and preparing technical drawings (GD&T)
• Knowledge of Solidworks and/or CAD
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and comfortable working with equipment
• Ability to work on hands‑on and practical engineering problems with measurable outcomes
• Capability to manage and complete a defined project within an 8–12 week summer internship period
• Willingness to work onsite in Rancho Dominguez within a Filtration Engineering environment

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $23/Hr. - $26/Hr.
